LeEtte Zoe Farris

LeEtte Farris, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1949, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016.
LeEtte was born on February 14, 1939 to Carl N. Peterson and Lorene E. (Pollard) Peterson in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She graduated from Colorado Springs High School / Palmer in 1957, and later was an active and charter member of the CSHS / Palmer Alumni Association. She married Barry Dale Farris on July 12, 1957 at the First United Methodist Church Lehmberg Chapel in Colorado Springs.
A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed sewing and traveling and absolutely loved her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Barry; her daughter, Angela L. Fountain; her brother, Norman C. Peterson (wife Mary); niece, Kate Peterson; and 3 grandchildren: Tripp, Drew, and Aubrey Fountain. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Brett Allen Farris (1965-1966), and her parents.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A private family committal service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
