Leonidas John Crepeau, a Colorado Springs resident for 35 years, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023. He worked as an interior finisher.
Leonidas was born on January 13, 1953, to Leonidas Oscar Crepeau and Sylvia Jean (Greene) Crepeau in Fall River, Massachusetts. He graduated from Tiverton High School in Tiverton, Rhode Island. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Kimberly Sue Kosley on February 14, 1996, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was an avid sports fan, especially of Boston teams.
Leonidas is survived by two sisters: Kathy Camara (Paul), and Joan Giard (Douglas); three brothers: Kevin Crepeau, David Crepeau, and Keith Crepeau; two step-daughters: Heather Kohlhase and Jenny (Kimbley) Lopez; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Crepeau.
Private family services are planned. Inurnment will take place at the Shrine of Remembrance, Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
Memorials in Leonidas’s name may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
