It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on October 13, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on September 23, 1941, he lived a life rich in love, service, and dedication.

As a father to Leola, Malita, Kiel, Ezra, Gideon, Rachel, Zada, Morgan, Harold, Leroy H., Timothy, and Ronald, he instilled in us the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. His love for his children was unconditional, and he took great joy in watching us grow and thrive. He was also a proud grandfather to Kylie, Ezekiel, Dontez, Ahmanie, Zariah, Ezra, Malaysia, Henley, Sevyn, Kiel, Zebadiah, Liam, Sonny, Jace, Aricella, Alora, Arthas, Athena, Gavin, Salem, Sydney, and Dominic, cherishing every moment spent with them or thinking of them.

A true patriot, he served his country honorably as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army, completing two tours during the Vietnam War. His commitment to his country was matched only by his passion for community, where he was a friend to so many.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served as a high priest. His faith guided him throughout his life and provided him with strength and purpose.

He was a source of unwavering support, always standing by his family and friends in times of need. His laughter, wisdom, and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

As we mourn the loss of our cherished father and grandfather, we celebrate the legacy of love and resilience he leaves behind. His spirit will forever live on in our hearts, and we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.

In honor of his life, a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1310 Aeroplaza Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80916. All who knew him are welcome to join us in remembrance and celebration of this remarkable man.
