Lesiha Michelle Slappe

Lesiha Michelle Slappe departed this life on January 8, 2014. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, and was formerly of Milton, Florida.

Michelle was born on November 16, 1967 in Melbourne, Florida. She attended Frisco City High School in Frisco City, Alabama. Michelle was employed at Qualtek Manufacturing. Her accomplishments were many but the greatest were her children.

Those who continue to celebrate her life include her son: Cameron (Amanda) Boyd Slappe; her daughter Madison Olivia Peterson; sister Tabbatha Lea Chesire (Michael) and their children Alec, Emma, Drew and Edee Chesire; her mother and stepfather Jean and Bruce Bienvenue; her daughter’s father and grandmother, Tim and Ellen Peterson; as well as many special friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors at Memorial Hospital ICU Unit A and the entire Qualtek family. Their compassion and caring will always be remembered.

A memorial service honoring Michelle and the life she lived will be held at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 4:00 pm. Condolences may be placed online at ShrineOfRemembrance.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
