This Obituary Has 2 Condolences

  1. I always found my way to you no matter how many times you asked me if I was lost when visiting you…….but now I am a bit lost without you. Thank you for loving me like your own and being a great ‘Papa’ to my children.

  2. I want to take a moment to reflect on and remember my dad—what he meant to me from the very moment I was born. He was my provider, my protector, my hero—my everything. No matter where we were or what we were doing, I always felt safe with him. He made me feel worthy, loved, beautiful, special, and smart. He would tell me all the time how beautiful I was, how happy I made him, and how proud he was to be my dad.

He instilled in me such great self-esteem. I didn’t need the world’s approval or validation to know my worth. I never cared about what others thought of me because I always knew I had his unwavering love and support. He never hesitated to show up for me, always taking the time to teach and guide me, making sure I knew how to navigate life.

He taught me to take care of my health and body—saying, “You only get one body, treat it well.” He showed me how to believe in myself and to never let anyone bring me down. He would say, “The more you know, the farther you’ll go in life.”

Above all, he taught me that family is everything. He reminded me to always rely on my siblings and be there for them, just as we did growing up. No matter how old we got, we were always meant to have each other’s backs. He would say, “Your mom and I won’t always be here,” and he was right.

So, with all that being said, rest easy, Dad. You were the first man I ever loved, and the first to love me unconditionally. You will truly be missed, but never, ever forgotten. Fly high, Dad. I love you.
