Levi “Pee Wee” Cordova passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Colorado Springs. Levi was born on September 3, 1937 in San Acacio, Colorado to the late Frank and Ida Cordova. After attending school, Levi married his sweetheart, Alice Maestas, on September 13, 1958 in Colorado Springs.

Levi was an equipment manager for the United States Air Force football team for over 42 years before retiring in 2001. He loved his job and enjoyed working with the team and the coaches. Levi was a well-liked man; often striking up conversations with strangers and always calling people a friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, talking and joking with friends and family and traveling the world to places such as Germany, Spain, Mexico and Hawaii.

Levi is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Alice; his son, Anthony (Carmen) Cordova and their children Bernadette and Anthony Jr. and a daughter, Debra (Mark) Naimy and their daughter, Sarah. He is also survived by his sisters: Lorraine Martinez, Shirlene Francois, Ramona Stafford, and Sarah Baker as well as his brother, Ace Cordova.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the First Pentecostal Church, 2950 Monica Drive West, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80916. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
