Lieselottie “Lottie” Margaret Deskins passed away peacefully at her home on May 12, 2017. Lottie was born June 8, 1933. Lottie was raised in Heidelberg, Germany by her parents, Andreas and Liesette Hauck. She had a brother and a sister.
On December 10, 1955, Lottie married Alfred Deskins, who preceded her in death, who was an American soldier stationed in Germany. She then moved to America in that same year.
At the end of her husband’s Army career they decided to settle in Colorado Springs. Lottie was the manager of Dunkin’ Donuts for 30 years.
Lottie is survived by her son, Robert; and daughters, Darlene Eilenstine, Linda Crane (and her husband Mark) and Christa Ramseyer. Lottie and Alfred also had a daughter, Thelma, who passed away in infancy.
Lottie is also survived by six grandchildren: Arch Jr., Karenda (and her husband Paul Silver), Matthew, Devin, Ashley, Maggie (and her husband Andrew Dunn); and three great grandchildren: Taylor, Brianna, and Travis.
Lottie’s funeral will be Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO. Viewing will be at 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
