Liliana Nieves Ramirez, 55 years old, passed away on December 11, 2018. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 21 years and was formerly a resident of Puerto Rico. She was a retired LTC in the Army and worked as a Registered Nurse at Evans Army Hospital.
Liliana Nieves Ramirez was born May 6, 1963 to Ramon Nieves and Maria Ramirez in Puerto Rico.
Queen Lily was fond of anything crafty. She also enjoyed spending time doing crafts with her grandchildren, and crocheting. She was a faithful woman of God and loved to be surrounded by people she cared about the most.
She is survived by her children: Robert Penaranda, Ashley Nieves, Dessire Armijo and Krysten Harris; her brother, Tommy Ramos; her grandchildren: Denalice, Davian, Noelani, Jacob, Ramon, Bentley, Khristian, Nyelly and Jaelyn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria, and her nephew, Joel.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 17, 2018, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80916.

May the God of comfort remind you of his promise that soon he will wipe out every tear from our eyes and even death will be no more (Revelation 21:3,4).
