Linda Sue Park, 75, a longtime resident of Pueblo, passed away July 13 due to a lengthy illness.
She was born to the late Harry and Mildred Park in Coffeyville, Kansas on January 10, 1939. Linda was a graduate of Centennial High School and worked as a grocery store clerk and as a caregiver for her church’s nursery.
Linda loved books, her cats, Days of Our Lives, Doo Wop concerts, community theater, and Bon Jovi.
Linda was a good friend and a wonderful aunt and sister.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Park; and is survived by brothers: Gene and Randy Park; nieces: Ilene Whitehead, Shelly Morris, Kathy Searle, Beth Park, and Hilary Kough; nephew, Jonathan Park; 10 great nieces and nephews; and longtime friends: Clela Long and Helen Anderson.
Linda’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 1:00 PM at Aberdeen Baptist Church, 301 Cleveland St., Pueblo, CO 81004.
Donations may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice or to Aberdeen Baptist Church.
