Lisa Leon passed away May 17, 2024. She was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs.
She was born in Germany on July 3, 1936. She worked as an assembler at Ampex Corporation for 20 years. Lisa loved to bake and cook when she was able to.
She is preceded in death by her husband Franciso Leon, son Larry Leon, and sister Heidi Toomey. She is survived by her daughter Angela Kenison, daughter Ruby Garcia, son Michael Leon, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was loved by those who had a chance to get to know her. She will be missed but there is comfort in knowing she is free of her ailments.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Inurnment will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
