Lloyd Clevenger, age 87, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Springs Village Care Center. He had retired after working for many years at the Union Printers Home in food service.

Edwin Lloyd Clevenger was born on June 20, 1926 in Redfield, South Dakota to the late Luther and Ethel (Justice) Clevenger. He was a member of The Salvation Army and attended worship services there. Lloyd enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

He is survived by his loving sister: Donna (and Albert) Rich; three nephews: Paul (Cindy) Rich, Theodore Rich and Alan Rich and a niece AlDonna (Ron) Marshall; all of Colorado Springs.

He also has five great nieces and nephews, and five great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.

He will be dearly missed.
