Loma Louise Terpstra, 91, passed away March 17, 2022. She was a resident of Colorado Springs. Colorado for 75 years. She was a homemaker.
Loma was born on September 04, 1930 To Leslie Bates and Golda (Perkins) in Mendota, Missouri. On September 05, 1950 she married Marvin Henry Terpstra in Alamosa, Colorado. Loma met Marvin at Alamosa High School and they were together ever since. They were married for 63 years. Loma loved being a homemaker and gardening. In her younger years she and Marvin loved activities with church members like camping, boating and fishing. They loved to take their camper to Florida and stay for a month. She was a member of Cragmor Christian Reformed Church and she and Marvin were one of the founding families.
She is survived by her children: Judy Doll-Howard (Jay), Jill Bouchard; grandchildren: Becky Odom (Kevin), Robert Duffy Jr., Curtis Duffy (Jennifer), Trisha Duffy, Troy VanOrden, Shara Knox (Richard), Nicole Fike (Billy), and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Marvin Henry Terpstra and daughter Jan Marlene Duffy.
Services will be held at Cragmor Christian Reformed Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022. Reception will be held following.
