Loretta Marie (Wagner) Eilert age 82, passed away at Parkside Manor in Stuart, NE on March 25, 2015. She was born on October 11, 1932 in Tipton, KS to Frank and Philomena (Gradig) Wagner. She married Max Eilert on November 3, 1956 in Tipton, KS.
Loretta was a housewife and mother but also a skilled seamstress. She enjoyed working with genealogy and had done extensive research on Max and her family history. Loretta enjoyed family, music and loved to dance.
Loretta is survived by daughters Marie Welborn and husband Brian of Atkinson, NE, Denise Crump and husband Robert of Peoria, AZ, Delphine Grayson and husband James of Colorado Springs, CO; sons John Eilert and wife Tammy of Chimacun, WA, Phillip Eilert of Stafford, VA, Marvin Eilert and wife Christine of Radford, VA, and Christopher Eilert of Stafford, VA; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother Eugene Wagner and wife Barbara of Downs, KS, sister Leona Budke and husband William of Leavenworth, KS; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband Max, and a son Matthew.
A memorial mass was held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Atkinson, NE with Father Luke Steffes officiating. The funeral is planned for April 11, 2015 at 9 am at the Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs, CO with Father Paul Wicker officiating; and then she will be laid to rest with her husband Max.
She loved her family and the Catholic faith and she will be truly missed.
