Lorlaine E. McDonnell, 94, entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2020. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 53 years. She was retired from Current.
Lorlaine was born July 25, 1926 to Walter and Margueritte (Bauer) McDonnell in Biloxi, MS.
Lorlaine (Dearie) passed on her love of reading and solving crossword puzzles to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed hiking and tent camping well into her 70s.
She is survived by her children Jim (Carol), Dale (Eileen), George (Joanie) Lewis, Betty Smith, her brother Herbie, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Estrell and a daughter Linda Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on September 19, 2020 at Shrine of Remembrance in the Garden of Angels.
