Marcelina Garcia was 89 and passed away on June 10, 2024. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 51 years.
Marcelina was born in Texas to Isabel Rivera and Maria O. Rivera on July 17, 1934. She married Albino S. Garcia on February 7, 1960 and was a dedicated mother of 4, grandmother of 6, great-grandmother of 8, and great-great grandmother of 2. She was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness.
She is survived by her children: Diana Michael, Patricia Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, and Gloria Loera; her siblings: Isabel R. Poll and Alicia R. Loehman; and grandchildren: Maria Ortega, Marcus Mendiola, Salvador Lucero, and Andrea Garcia.
Marcelina was preceded in death by Albino S. Garcia, Ramon Lucero and Angela Lucero.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on June 28th at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
