Margaret Jane Blea, age 75, entered eternal life on August 31, 2017. Born on December 23, 1941 to Olmedo and Polly Mondragon in Silver City, New Mexico. Margaret grew up in Taos, New Mexico where her sister, Otelia Vigil and 2 brothers, Olmedo Jr. and Anthony Mondragon still reside.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Narcisso Blea and her son, Stephen Martinez. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Sandra (Wil), Roberta (Bryan) and Rebecca (George); her two sons, Gerald (Judy) and Charles (Jennifer). Margaret also had 18 grandchildren as well as 18 great grandchildren.
She was deeply loved by her family. The unconditional love she always showed her family will be missed.
Margaret truly was a gift to her family. Having received two organ transplants throughout her life, as well as so many other medical challenges, her body just could not take any more. God has called her into his loving arms, while forever leaving her family with broken hearts and a life time of love and memories.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 1:00p.m.- 2:00p.m. and Catholic service from 2:00p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
Burial will be held immediately following mass at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expy., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
