Margot Edith Lambert – September 17, 2021

Margot Lambert, 91, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021. She had been a resident at the Brookdale Monument Valley Park Memory Care Center.

She was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Margot met her loving husband Leland after World War II. They called Colorado Springs home since 1968 when Leland was stationed at Fort Carson. She loved the Colorado mountains as they reminded her of Germany. Margot created beautiful gardens at their home, she enjoyed cooking and baking German favorites for her family.

Margot is survived by her son Raymond and daughter-in-law Karen of Colorado Springs, CO plus a niece and nephew in Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband Leland, son David, parents and sister Helga.

Margot was cremated and will rest with her husband Leland at Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
