Marian L. “Ginger” Krempasky
Marian L. “Ginger” Krempasky, age 65, a resident of Colorado Springs for the last two years and formerly of Woodland Park, Colorado and Bradenton, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Marian Louise Alexander was born on August 14, 1946 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond and Dollydorsey (Greishaw) Alexander. She was a 1964 graduate of Fredonia High School in New York State. She married Joseph Steven Krempasky, Jr. on December 30, 1965 in Fredonia.
She was a woman of the ‘60s. She took care of her husband, kids, and her beloved chihuahuas.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; her sons: David (wife, Christy) Krempasky of Falcon, Colorado; and Joseph (wife, Chieko) Krempasky, III of Price, Utah; six grandchildren: David, Rebecca, Alexander, Nicholas, Marika, and Kanami; and her sister: Suzan Glenn of Erie, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law: Richard and Martin Krempasky; sisters-in-law: Betty and Barbara Krempasky; and nieces: Suzie and Debbie.
Memorial services are planned for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance North Chapel, 5440 North Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918. Cremation is planned, and her cremated remains will eventually be strewn in the ocean off of the Florida coast.
