Marilyn S. McCleary, 61, of Colorado Springs, Colorado entered into rest Monday, November 24, 2014. She was a long-time resident of Colorado Springs for the last 23 years and formerly resided in Vandenberg AFB, California.

Marilyn retired (after 21 years) from Lockheed Martin, but her proudest occupation above all, was as a loving homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. On April 8, 1971 she married her high school sweetheart, Don McCleary. They were married in Junction City, Kansas. They later had two wonderful children, Erin and Matt; and 3 loving grandchildren.

Marilyn was very fond of the time she spent with her family and was especially devoted to her grandchildren: Payton, Riley, and Brianna. She was an extremely dedicated grandmother and devoted much of her time to them. Due to her love of family – holidays were especially fun for Marilyn. She absolutely loved the holidays, especially Christmas.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Don McCleary; daughter, Erin (Dave) Gibson; son, Matt (Cherrie) McCleary; mother, Gerry Waggoner; sisters: Sheryl (David) Brown, and Margie (Bill) Wildman; brother, David (Robin) Waggoner; and 3 grandchildren: Payton and Riley Gibson, and Brianna McCleary.

Marilyn will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Cremation by Shrine of Remembrance with urn placement April 11, 2015 in Skiddy, Kansas.
