Marina L. Fry
Marina L. Fry, age 56, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at a local hospital. She was a Dietary Services Aide, Commercial Housekeeper, and Caregiver. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Marina Louise Mack was born on January 29, 1958 in Colorado Springs to the late Roosevelt and Julia Mack. She was a 1975 graduate of Palmer High School. She will be best remembered for her love of animals, children and her work ethic.
She is survived by her daughter: Moneke Fry and her sisters: Sandra Mack, Valorie (and Fred) Brown and her brothers: Roosevelt (and Sue) Mack and Matthew (and Karen) Mack. She is also survived by her former sister-in-law: Virginia Grimaldo, and numerous nieces and nephews: Andrew, Sorimar, Andrew Jr., Soryanne, Alliaha, John, Autumn, Leilani, Candra, Elisabeth, Jaheim, Damiem, Kyia, Jericho, Juanita, Julie, Ashley, Laura, Britney, Thomas, and Brianna.
She had two wonderful canine companions: “Shuggy” and “Mizzy.”
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs. A repast will then be held at the Trinity Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Marina’s family asks guests not to wear too much black.
