Marjorie Zimmerman, 84, of Colorado Springs, CO entered into rest May 24th, 2015. Marjorie was born in Flat Willow, Montana on October 4, 1930 to parents Audrey and Glenn Stroup. She graduated from nursing school in Missoula, Montana and found herself travelling for her career for many years. She retired in 1981 from Penrose-Glockner Hospital in Colorado Springs and ended her 30 year surgical nursing profession.

On September 8, 1973 Marjorie married her loving husband of 42 years, Robert Zimmerman in Jackson, Mississippi. She and Bob had met in their 20’s on a bowling league but Marjorie wanted to establish her surgical nursing career before marriage. So, 20 years later, they found each other, and married. Marjorie loved and cherished Bob dearly. The bond they shared was like no other; they were definitely soul mates. Throughout retirement, they enjoyed travelling and spending time together.

Marjorie loved gardening, cooking, sewing, travelling, her religion and spending time with Bob. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. Marjorie will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
