Martha Jean Blubaugh, 85, of Colorado Springs, passed away on May 21, 2015 at a local care facility. Martha was born on February 22, 1930 in Crestline, Ohio to the late Elmer and Mildred (Arman) Hoffman. She married Benjamin Blubaugh on June 5, 1948 in Ohio and they were blessed with four children.
Martha worked in the family business delivering parts and answering phones for a short time but really enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and loved surrounding herself with her family and friends. Martha also enjoyed ceramics, gardening, bowling, golfing and especially traveling with Ben in their motor home.
Martha is survived by her sons: William (Peggy) Blubaugh of Las Vegas, Nevada and Steve (Rhonda) Blubaugh of Colorado Springs; daughter, Patti Teall of Colorado Springs; grandchildren: Eddie (Nicole) Blubaugh, Lauren Paul, Evan Blubaugh and Curtis and Clint Hudson. She is also survived by three great grandchildren: Skyler Hudson and Nathan and Austin Blubaugh. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ben; her daughter, Barbara Paul and four siblings.
Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard. Private family inurnment will also be held at the Shrine of Remembrance.
