Marty Kay Hall of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away in her home on April 18, 2025, at the age of 68 years old.

Marty was born on September 3, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, and was adopted by Earl and Helen Bailey. Marty and Brian Hall met in 1972, making 53 years they have known each other.

Marty worked at Hewlett-Packard / Agilent and more recently worked for Advantage Solutions at King Soopers. Marty enjoyed doing crafts and knitting afghans. Family and friends would receive her hand knitted afghans on special occasions. It was her joy to teach Jay (Kayla) to be a yarnie and crafter. Her love for animals could always be seen by the birds and/or dogs in her home.

In 2005 she joined her husband with Help Autism nonprofit. Her passion and talents would shine through her 20 years of volunteering. Marty was right beside Brian through all the events and booths. She was the friendly face in the Autism Community. She never saw the disability only the person. Marty fully enjoyed placing 4 dogs in 2 years with the Help Autism Service Dogs program. Marty was well known throughout the Autism Community and will be missed. Above and beyond her passion for the Autism Community is her love for her family. She had a strong bond of love for her husband and a partnership beside him. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her daughter, Heather (Hall) Wilson, and grandchildren, Jay (Kayla) Thomas and Brian Thomas. Brian Thomas’s diagnosis of severe autism sparked her deep desire to find resources and assistance for families.

Marty was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Helen Bailey. She is survived by her beloved husband and partner, Brian Hall; daughter, Heather (Hall) Wilson; grandchildren, Brian Thomas and Jay (Kayla) Thomas; brother, Glenn Bailey; brother-in-law, Bruce Hall; Colleen (Ted) Griffin; and Theresa (Doug) Gillham. Marty was blessed with many well-loved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A reception will follow at the Colorado Springs Event Center, 3960 Palmer Park Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. Marty’s final resting place will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum in the Song of Mary Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Marty Hall’s name to Help Autism at www.helpautism.org.

Brian and Heather would personally like to thank everyone for their attendance, support, and the many organizations who have reached out to them in the Autism Community.
