Mary Agnes Dominguez, 71, of Colorado Springs, Colorado entered into rest December 16, 2014. She was a long time resident of Colorado Springs for 46 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend to all who knew her. Mary had the kind of heart that could touch the lives of anyone she came in contact with.
Mary Agnes and her twin sister, Agnes Mary, were born on August 3, 1943 to Efren and Evangelina (Duran) Lovato in Chacon, New Mexico. On November 11, 1961 she married the love of her life, Charlie E. Dominguez in Holman, New Mexico. They were married for 53 wonderful years.
Mary was fond of many things. She enjoyed cooking, family, church, praying for everyone, and was like a mother to everybody. Mary was the warm soul that anyone could go to for anything and she could be counted on. Mary was so organized and detailed with everything she did that she prided herself on being the “go to person” of the family. She was also an Active parishioner of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church since 1972 and devoted her life to family and God. Showing her Colorado pride, she was also a very big Denver Broncos fan.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Charlie E. Dominguez; 3 sons: Charlie, Anthony, and Alan Dominguez; daughter, Brenda Cortez; 3 brothers: Lee “Dino” Martinez, Willie (Pat) Duran, Raymond (Sylvia) Duran; 2 sisters: Josephita (Estevan) Sanchez, Virginia (Elias) Duran; 2 sister-in-laws: Georgia (Phil) Sanchez, and Maria “Tita” (Richard) Sandoval; mother-in-law, Oralia Dominguez; grandchildren: Monique Dominguez, and Cody Files; great-grandchild, Athena Rosales; and several loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Evangelina and Efren Lovato; 3 brothers: Eddie and Joe Montoya, and Paul Duran; and her twin sister, Agnes Mary Lovato.
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
