Mary Ann Ida Hittle, 91, passed away on June 21, 2015. Mary Ann was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 38 years and was formally a resident of Sioux City, Iowa and Crofton, Nebraska. She was a beautician.
Mary Ann was born on October 6, 1923 to Leo Meier and Clara (Tramp) Meier in Fordyce, Nebraska. On February 2, 1944 she married Harold (Doc) Hittle in Hartington, Nebraska.
Mary Ann was fond of bridge. She also enjoyed bowling and crossword puzzles. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Mary Ann is survived by her children: Sandy Hittle, Steve and Linda Hittle; her siblings: Angela Gnirk and Henrietta Cunningham; her grandchildren: Michelle and Ian Thompson, David and Brenda Reimer, Cary and Ashley Hittle, Tara Hittle, Nathan Hittle, Keith and Tasha Hittle; her great-grandchildren: Copper Reimer, Anthony Barks, Shane Reimer, Taylor Hittle, Colin Wood, and Hunter Hittle. She is preceded in death by her husband Doc Hittle, granddaughter Natalie (Reimer) Barks-DePalma, eight brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held from 5-7p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rosary will be at 7p.m. at the same address. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado. A reception will be held following the Mass at The Hope House at Holy Trinity. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado at 1:00p.m. the same day.
