Mary P. Fleeson, age 93, passed away December 15, 2011. She was a homemaker who had been a resident of Colorado Springs for 40 years.
Mary was born September 8, 1918 to Harry Alfred Murphy, Jr. and Ethel (Frazee) Murphy in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.
She loved singing, gardening, high energy walking and was a Red Cross staff member in Japan and Fiji. She also had a great sense of humor, loved chocolate, and anything Hawaiian.
Mary is survived by her children: George S. Fleeson, Mary K. Weddle, and Sally Rimer; and her grandchildren: George, Taylor, Will, Meagan, Brooke, and Peter. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Fleeson, and her parents.
Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
