MaryAnn (Gallagher) Comeau passed away of February 18, 2016 at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, George; her daughter, Kelly; her sister, Kate; and her mother, Ann. She is survived by her sons: Mark, and Jonathan; her six grandchildren: Caitlyn, Madison, Hannah, Sean, Nathan, and Jonathan; her brother, Tom; step-sister, Melissa; her step-brothers: Robert and Charles, and he nephews: Christopher and Jonathan.
Her independent spirit led her to drive from the shores of New England to the foothills of Colorado Springs in her sunset year so that she could live in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains. She enjoyed baking for her grandchildren, spoiling her pets, and watching wildlife activity from her kitchen table over a cup of coffee. She will always be remembered most for her strength, kindness, generosity, and willingness to forgive.
