Mason Max Brown
Mason Max Brown, age 83, passed away on October 3, 2016. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for more than 30 years. Mason spent most of his career in Real Estate and Land Development.
Mason was born on September 3, 1933 to Carl and Heppy Brown in Wray, Colorado.
Mason, a U.S. Army veteran, was fond of landscaping and maintaining his beautiful yard. He spent numerous hours creating a true sanctuary that was enjoyed by many for the last 30 years. He grew up in Montrose, Colorado where he graduated from high school. He was an athlete who enjoyed football and boxing. Mason was also a ballroom dancer and instructor in his early years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Mae Brown; his children: Barry Markuson, Byrion Brown, Mason Max Brown II, Brenda Brunk (husband, Tom), Lisah Brown & Carlie Bush (husband, Chris). He is also survived by 13 wonderful grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mason is also survived by his brother, Calvin Brown and 2 sisters: Marvis Bishop and Carlene Belle.
Mason was a devout Christian man with an unwavering love for Jesus Christ. The family will have a private service.
