c, 66, passed away on December 26, 2013.
Mike was born on September 7, 1947 to Ralph and Barbara Kruse in St. Mary’s, Ohio.
As a young man Mike was an accomplished baseball player, bowler and prankster. After graduating high school Mike joined the United States Army where he proudly served in the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington D.C. He moved to Colorado in 1972 and served 18 years with the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Over the years Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car racing and his beloved Denver Broncos. Mike also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and looked forward to participating in The Run For The Wall every year to show his support for the veterans. He was a loyal member of the Untouchables Motorcycle Club, where he rode with his fellow brothers and earned the road name “Kruiser”.
Mike was a cherished father, grandfather, brother (including his brothers in blue), friend and uncle. His daughters, Terra Roth and Pamala Kruse, would like to express their deepest gratitude to everyone involved in the care of their father over the past year. In lieu of flowers please donate to the “Wounded Warrior Project”.
