Michael D. Love, 48, of Colorado Springs, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2017 after a brief illness.
Michael was born in Havre, Montana to Gary and Linda Love on January 21, 1969. He was a graduate of Doherty High School in Colorado Springs, and he married Teresa Haban on September 19, 1992.
A long-time resident of Colorado Springs, Michael was a former El Paso County Deputy and employee of Kraft Foods. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, classic car shows, and was a military history enthusiast.
Michael is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Teresa; two sons, Ryan and Andrew Love, both of Colorado Springs; his mother, Linda Love; grandmother, Beulah Lemon; sister, Kristina (Sean) Minton; and niece and nephew, Rebecca and Jackson Minton. He also leaves behind a large extended family. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Gary Love.
