Michael K. Hahn, age 61, passed away on December 17th 2020. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 57 years and was formerly a resident of Detroit. He was a truck driver for Waste Management.
Michael was born on June 6th 1958 to Virgil Hahn and Helen (Smith) Hahn in Detroit, Michigan. On April 16th 1994 he married Pamela (Swaisgood) Hahn in Colorado Springs. Mike was fond of hiking, he also enjoyed traveling and had an appreciation for music. He attended Coronado High School.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Pamela Hahn; his 6 children: Michael W. Hahn, Steven Hahn, Bronwyn Hahn, Brennen Hahn, Craigan Hahn, Cody Swaisgood; his mother Helen Hahn; his siblings: Teresa and Mary; his grandchildren: Noah, Grace, Addison and Finnley. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Hahn and grandmother Bertha Hahn.
Mike loved spending time with his family, he loved weekend trips to New Mexico with his wife. He was an avid Bronco fan and loved to do karaoke at family get togethers. Mike loved music and always had it playing. He loved to go hiking and spending time in the mountains. Mike had a goofy laugh that was infectious and will truly be missed.
A public visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at The Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A memorial service celebrating Michael’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
