June 5, 1980 – January 14, 2022

   Michelle passed away January 14th at Penrose Hospital.

   Michelle was born in Bell Texas to Christine Martinez.

   Michelle leaves behind her significant other Jon Montoya and her children; Christopher, Jonathan, Nevaeh Montoya who she loved very much, along with her step children; Nathan and Matthew Montoya. Michelle also leaves behind her brother Mike Woodard.

   Michelle enjoyed going camping with her family as well as shopping.  Michelle was always there for anyone in need.

   The celebration of her life will be Thursday, January 27th at the Shrine of Remembrance, viewing at 9am followed by a 10am service.

  1. My condolences to Michelle’s family. Her maternal grandmother Ella Lujan and her paternal grandfather Al Martinez. I will miss talking and texting Michelle. She had great sense of humor and loved generously. She was my cousin, but she always called me Auntie Roxy. My family Aunt Lora Ruybal, Sylvia, Leonard and Louis Ruybal, her cousin’s Russell M. Smith lll Adam l. Smith and family send thoughts and prayers to all of you. God speed sweetheart. We love you.

  2. Michelle, we have lost touch over the years as we both grew older and had families of our own. I am just so heartbroken to hear that you are gone. I want you to know how much I loved you and how much I miss you? may you rest in peace my friend until we meet again.
