October 19, 1928 – November 27, 2022
Morris E Brovold, 94 years old, passed away November 27, 2022. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 54 years. He was in the Air Force for 20 years and the Post Office for another 20 years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty. He is survived by their 3 daughters: Lorrie Chmura, Linda Seifert, and Lynn Mantz. He also had a son, Larry Brovold, who is deceased. He is also survived by his 5 grandsons: Eric Wagers, Todd Wagers, Jason Mantz, Doug Merritt, and Daniel Mantz. Lastly, he leaves behind several great grandchildren.
He spent his spare time doing fun things with his family. He was a wonderful, wonderful father. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his country. He will greatly be missed!!!
A memorial service will be held on the 8th day of December 2022 at 9:00 am, at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
