Nancy Alice Ann Leisher
Nancy Leisher, age 39, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1996 and formerly of Mesa, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 2, 2012 in her home. She was a computer programmer and a loving wife and mother.
Nancy Alice Ann Moravek was born on August 15, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri to Raymond and Carole (Buchen) Moravek. She was a 1990 graduate of Mountain View High School in Paradise Valley in Arizona and then went on to graduate from Arizona State University. She met Thomas James Leisher in Colorado Springs and they married on July 14, 2001.
Nancy loved hiking, roller skating, and snowboarding. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She especially enjoyed being a mom and spending time with her three children.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Thomas; their wonderful children: Ella Marie; Allison Anne; and Karl James; her parents: Raymond and Carole Moravek; her brothers: Michael (wife, Sally) Moravek; Vincent Moravek; and David (wife, Carla) Moravek; her sister: Laura Moravek; and Tom’s parents: Ken and Pat Leisher of Salida, Colorado.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard.
