Nancy Naugle Spencer, age 56, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1963 and formerly of Farmington, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at a local care center. She was a homemaker who had for many years been a district manager in the food service industry.
Nancy Ann Naugle was born on November 26, 1956 in Tokyo, Japan to Paul and Bette (Daschle) Naugle. She was a 1974 graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School. She married Samuel C. Spencer on August 8, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She loved the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, visits to Cripple Creek, New Mexico sunsets and especially, cats. She made jewelry, could name most of the Hollywood actors and movies, and enjoyed puzzles of every kind. She will be best remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, generosity and conservative views.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Sam; her mother, Bette Naugle; her sister, Sandie Fulghum; a niece; three nephews; six great nieces and two great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul; and her sister; Paige Naugle.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Boulevard.
