Nancy Thompson
March 15, 1959 – September 7, 2012
Nancy Thompson, at the age of 53 passed and left us with the memory of her life. She left this world on September 7, 2012.
Nancy was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Her mother and father, Ruth Marie Nolder-Pelcharsky and Charles Pelcharsky raised a remarkable young woman that touched the lives of many. Nancy had the heart of a saint and always gave 110% in all her life’s endeavors.
She earned her high school diploma in 1977 from Bettendorf High School. Nancy then continued her education and graduated from USC as an honorably mentioned Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Nancy moved to Greeley, Colorado where she met her husband of 25 years, Michael Thompson. They lived happily together for more than 30 years. Michael and Nancy were married in Estes Park, Colorado in a beautiful chapel overlooking the Rocky Mountains in 1982.
Nancy loved the outdoors. Anything from playing in the garden and creating masterpiece floral arrangements, to watching the aspens change colors in the fall. She was also a successful decorator and party planner. Family was always her number one priority in life. Making the ones she loved smile meant the world to her.
Her two children Mandy and Danny survive her, as well as her mother Marie, sister Billie-Rae, and four wonderful grandchildren: Bailey, Jadyn, Alana, and Courie. Her father Charles, fifth grandchild, Noah, and late husband Michael, are with her now in heaven.
