Nicholas Davis Galvin
October 22, 1989 – June 27, 2014
Nick Galvin, age 24, passed away on June 27, 2014. He was a resident of Colorado for 23 years. Nick was born on October 22, 1989 to Joe and Penny (Davis) Galvin in Wichita, Kansas.
He is survived by his loving parents: Joe and Penny Galvin; his sisters: Breann and McKenzie Galvin; his girlfriend: Hannah Herman; and his dog: Dude. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Jack Galvin and Russell Davis; and his cousin: Brock Thorpe.
Nick enjoyed playing golf from time to time and was an avid frisbee golfer. But his real passion was hockey. He grew up playing hockey and was a team member of both Lewis Palmer High School’s inline and ice hockey teams. He received his Associates degree from Front Range Community College and was continuing his education at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He was funny, caring, passionate and an honest friend, brother and son. He will be greatly missed and remembered by everyone that knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 2nd at Trinity Lutheran Church, 17750 Knollwood Dr., Monument, CO 80132. A reception will be held at the church following the service.
