Nicholas Scott Oskvarek was born happy and healthy on March 19, 1997, at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born to Scott and Kristen and joined his two brothers, Jake and Luke.

He was exuberant and joyous as a boy and loved to play and laugh with his older brothers. Many of Nick’s days were spent roaming the neighborhood with his friends and begging his mom and dad for sleepovers. His favorite food was mac and cheese, but it had to be Kraft. He loved animals and collected a small zoo’s worth of reptiles and hermit crabs over the years. This early fascination would lead to his self-proclaimed best day of his life, diving with great white sharks in South Africa.

As Nick grew up, his fierce loyalty, love for those around him, and silly nature only grew stronger. He excelled in athletics in high school earning varsity letters in wrestling and football. He went on to graduate from Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management. His tenacious work ethic landed him a job with Bryan Construction, and he hit the ground running.

Nick had a huge heart, big enough for all who came into his life. Nick is survived by his mom, dad, two brothers, their wives, nieces and nephew, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins as well as his beloved dog, Ruby. He will be missed by all of the lives he touched and impacted in his 27 years.
