August 27, 1967 – March 11, 2025

Paul was born in Detroit, Michigan, and moved to Colorado in 1981.

He is survived by parents: Paul A. and Dora Goldenbogen; his spouse, Sheila; daughter, Samantha (Jay); and Paul’s son, Paul Wesley; his sisters: Monica Maul and Anne Parker (Michael); numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; nieces: Kayla McEntyre (Dustin) and Hannah Parker; and nephew, Dalton Maul (Kathryn).

Paul was a simple genius with many hobbies. He had the ability to repair and make something out of anything. He loved tinkering with vehicles, ATVs, and enjoyed gunsmithing. Paul had a passion for collecting. His hobbies included flying aviation model airplanes he built himself. He enjoyed the family outdoor wilderness camping trips in the Colorado mountains and hiking with family and friends. Stargazing, alien mysteries and paranormal investigations were favorite ways to spend his time.  He was a prankster and laughed louder than anyone else.

His love for his family, friends and coworkers at Dillard’s was so easy to feel whenever he was present.

Through Paul’s two-year treatment of cancer he remained as positive as possible with humor and prayer.  He was a strong, mindful man who considered others often before thinking of himself.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
