Penni W. Abrams
Born May 11, 1964. Died Jan. 20, 2016.
She was a retired Public Safety Dispatcher for the Colorado Springs Police Department, and a lifelong Colorado Springs resident.
She volunteered for the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Peer Support Team, was an instructor for the CIT Program (Critical Incident Training), and for the Southern Colorado Crisis Support Team. She was a founding member of Temple Beit Torah and was a supporter of children’s sports.
She loved photography, travelling, and good food, and was a Facebook fanatic.
She is survived by her husband, Steven G.; a son, David; a daughter, Jordyn; her mother, Mikki Webber; and a brother, James Webber.
Memorial service, 2 p.m. Jan. 29, Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A reception will follow the services at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
