Phyllis Robison went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2024. She passed peacefully with family by her side at the age of 94.
She was born June 19, 1929, in Normal, Illinois, and moved to Arcola, Illinois where she completed her school years. She attended Lindenwood College in Illinois for one year and then moved to Colorado Springs to join her sister, Marilyn, where she worked for O’Brien Printing, Co. She later met Vernon Robison and they were married on August 7, 1949, at the First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs.
Vernon and Phyllis raised two children together during their 64 years of marriage, Stephen Robison and Gayle Caldwell.
She was a homemaker for many years and worked as a dental assistant and office administrator for the family real estate company. She was active in the Sweet Adelines singing organization, belonged to a bridge club, enjoyed golf, led exercise classes and ran the occasional marathon. She was active in her church, volunteering for the Get Set Childrens ministry and attending worship and Sunday School classes.
She was preceded in death by her parents: mother, Madeline Mace (Metcalf) and father, Paul Mace; and older sister, Marilyn Menten.
She is survived by her children: Stephen Robison (Nadine) and Gayle Caldwell (Marcus); 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Her memory will be treasured by her family and friends.
