Ramon “Raymond” G. Tanguma, 88, entered eternal life on January 8th, 2023. He was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 24 years.
Raymond was born in Beeville, TX, to Ramon and Anita Tanguma. As a young man, he moved to Dallas where he met his wife, Hortensia. They were blessed with 3 children.
He enjoyed traveling in his younger years. As he retired, he became an avid gardener. What he was most moved by was creating and writing stories, playing his guitar, and singing favorite songs.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Ruth, grandson, Christopher Troy, sister ‘Dina’ and parents.
Raymond is survived by 2 daughters, Martha, and Naomi, 6 grandchildren, William, Mario Jr., Gabriel, David, Tyler, and Sara. He had 4 great grandchildren, Ricky, Lucas, Daisy, and Alisandra.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado.
