Ray Walker, 87 years old, passed away on November 14, 2023. He was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 47 years and a prior resident of numerous Army posts.
He was born on December 24, 1935, to Lance Walker and Mildred Danford in Springfield, Illinois.
Ray was fond of traveling, he also enjoyed watching the Cubs, and old westerns. He was married to his spouse, Carol Ann Povall Morse Walker on July 21, 1984, at West Point Military Academy. Ray served in the Army for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Walker; daughter, Diana List; stepsons: Brian Michael, and Gregory Paul Morse; his grandchildren: Cassidy, Cody, Brooke, Joclyn, and Ethan; his great-grandchildren: Declan, Gavin, Lomen, Vidar, and Phoenix.
Ray was preceded in death by his father and mother; his sister, Barb; brother, Don; and son, Ray T. Walker.
A private military service will be held at a later date.
