Rhonda Lynn Knight (nee Henden), 46, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Calhan, Colorado after a lengthy illness. She was a resident of Calhan for 8 years and was formerly a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Lompoc, California.
Rhonda was born on April 11, 1968 in Lompoc, California to Thomas and Sharon Henden. She graduated from Cabrillo High School in Lompoc in 1986 and from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California in 1996. She married John R. Knight on October 27, 1996.
She is survived by her husband; her daughters: Whitney (husband Scott) Nolan, Heather (husband Travis) Loudin, and Julianna Knight; a son, Robert Knight; her father; and two sisters: Kim Schneider and Alyce Camero. She was preceded in death by her mother.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Living Word Community Church, 532 Colorado Avenue, Calhan, Colorado, 80808. Inurnment will be private. Memorials in Rhonda’s name may be made to Compassion International and designated for her sponsored child.
