Richard Lee Livingston
December 20, 1936 – March 17, 2015

Richard was a native of Colorado Springs, a graduate of Palmer High School in 1952, then joined the Air Force shortly thereafter. He served in Greenland during the Cuban Missile Crisis maintaining refueling tanker air craft.

Discharged in 1957, he was employed by Colorado Interstate Gas Co. (Coastal Corp) working in their logistics division until 1996 when he retired after 40 years, receiving several achievement awards.

Richard enjoyed auto racing, sports, music, shopping and driving trips, his work shop, pets, maintaining his home and property, and family get-togethers. On several occasions he has been asked to name 3 things he loved. His answer was always the same, “My wife, my pets, my truck.”

He was a devoted husband, son, and friend. He had a beautiful heart, smile and laugh. He always said, “I will meet my wife again, some magic moment in time!”

He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Loretta L. Livingston, sister-in-law: Susan Stillwell, brother-in-law: Michael Stillwell, 2 nephews: Brian and Robert “Bobby” Stillwell, and father-in-law, Quentin Florey.
