Robert “Bob” Lee Dyer passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 6, 2019. Bob was born September 2, 1939 in Cookville, Tennessee to Joe and Ella Dyer.
Bob joined the United States Air Force, and was stationed at ENT Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He then moved to a life long career with Colorado Springs Utilities, where he was a heavy equipment operator in the electric department, where he finally retired.
In his free time, Bob loved to take long distance motorcycle trips, including straight through trips to Tennessee, and weekend trips to Albuquerque to name a few. Bob was also known for always sharing a good joke with friends and people he would meet. He never met a stranger and always was will to help others he knew were in need.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Dyer.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy Dyer and son, Duane (Elena) Dyer of Colorado Springs.
