Robert C. Figgie, age 82, passed away on June 20, 2015. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 53 years and the owner/operator of Rampart Pools and Cascade Mobile Park.

Robert was born on September 21, 1932 to Boots and Laura (Nolte) Figgie in La Crosse, WI. He attended Logan High School in La Crosse WI and graduated in 1950. He served in the United States Air Force for four years.

Bob enjoyed flying, skiing, winemaking and had a deep love and passion for the Bronco’s and Rockies. His greatest love was helping others. He is a member of Colorado Spring Shrine Club, Gleneagle Sertoma, and has enjoyed attending the Berean Bible Study class at First United Methodist Church. He has been active in the Colorado Springs community for over 50 years.

He is survived by his brother Richard Figgie of La Crosse, WI and family. He is also survived by his children Rick Figgie; grandsons Christopher and Nick Figgie; Laura Kelly and husband Mike; Vicki Wheeler and husband Rob; grandsons Tim (wife Sally Wheeler) , and Sam Wheeler; and his special friend Liz Klopfer. He was preceded in death by his wife Victoria Figgie.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on June 26 at Shrine of Remembrance located at 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO. A funeral service will follow immediately after at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at 1005 Hancock Expressway. A reception will be held following the interment at Colorado Springs Shrine Club at 6 S. 33rd St. Colorado Springs, CO.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Bob’s name to the American Heart Association.

He is survived by his children Rick Figgie, Laura Kelly and Vicki Wheeler; his brother Richard Figgie; his grandchildren Christopher Figgie, Nick Figgie, Tim Wheeler, and Sam Wheeler; and his special friend Liz Klopfer. He was preceded in death by his wife Victoria Figgie.
