Robert C. Stadjuhar, whom everyone knew as Bob, passed away on June 1, 2018, surrounded by family. Bob was 81 years old. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for over 45 years. Bob previously resided in Denver, Boulder, and was born and grew up in Trinidad, Colorado. Bob Stadjuhar founded Skyline Products, Inc., a technology company located in Colorado Springs, in 1970. Bob was the President and CEO of Skyline until 2003, when he handed the reigns over to his son Chip. Bob continued to work at Skyline until his death.
Bob Stadjuhar was born on March 7, 1937, to George and Rose (Potocnik) Stadjuhar. On August 8, 1964, he married Jeaneen Heter in Colorado Springs. They remained happily married until his death.
Bob always loved camping, skiing, and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and enjoyed going to museums, particularly history museums and those with collections of old cars and planes. He adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Bob attended Holy Trinity High School in Trinidad, and graduated in 1955. He served in the United States Army Reserve.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeaneen; his children: Robert “Chip” C. Stadjuhar Jr. and his wife, Cherie, Gregory J. Stadjuhar and his wife, Lauren, Laurel E. Stadjuhar, and Lynne J. Stadjuhar Platt and her husband, Tyler; his sister, Shirley A. Stadjuhar; and his grandchildren: Ashley, Taylor, Jacob, Elizabeth (Lizzie), and Robert (Bobby). He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and George Stadjuhar.
