Robert Earl Shrewsbury, age 87, passed away on January 28, 2014. He was a Resident of Colorado Springs for 60 years. He was a Sheet Metal Fabricator and a United States Army Veteran.
Robert was born on June 11, 1926 to Robert and Mabel Shrewsbury (Savage), in Pueblo, Colorado.
He married Vivian Hoover on December 10, 1043 in Pueblo, Colorado.
Robert enjoyed playing wind musical instruments, loved snowmobiling, fishing, avid hunter and gunsmith. He was a life member of Frontier Sportsman’s Club, life member of the National Rifle Association, and 65 years with the Sheet Medal Local 9.
Robert is survived by two sons: Robert Jr. (Rosetta) and Lynn Sr., and daughter Janet V. Daugherty (Tom). He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mabel Shrewsbury, and his wife Vivian Shrewsbury.
A Memorial Service held 10am Monday, February 3, 2014 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
