Robert “Bob” Fox, age 82, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 43 years and a former resident of Houston, Texas for ten years. Bob loved electronics and worked in that industry his entire life. While in Houston, he worked for NASA; participating in the historic moon landings. While in Colorado Springs, he worked at NORAD in Cheyenne Mountain. Bob was also an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Bob was born on March 7, 1934 in Morgantown, West Virginia to Clarence and Kathryn (Boyles) Fox. He married his wife, Elaine Hofmann on July 21, 1956 in College Park, Maryland and they remained together for 60 years. He was a loving, dedicated husband to his wife and a loving, caring father to his children and grandchildren as well as a loyal friend to everyone.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; two children: Keith and Kristi; three grandchildren: Corey, Katie and Sarah and a great granddaughter, Lilly. He is also survived by his brother, Gary.
Per Bob’s request, no services will be held at this time. A private inurnment will take place at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.
